Thank you for registering! Here is a recap: OVERVIEW In celebration of Black History Month, Ladies of Virtue is gearing up for our LOV DAY! Would you like to volunteer on LOV DAY? There are 4 opportunities. 1. Help Pack Boxes from 11am to 3pm on Feb 12, 2022 Volunteers will be needed to pack boxes from 11am-3pm in South Shore. South Shore - Imani Community Development Corporation - 2314 E. 83rd St., Chicago, IL 60617. 2. Volunteer to Donate Items If you would like to donate items for the LOV BOX drop them off (Tuesday - Friday from 11am to 6pm) or mail them to: Imani Community Development Corporation Attn: Ladies of Virtue 2314 E. 83rd St., Chicago, IL 60617 We are looking for the following items: Self-love journals for girls/teens, nail polish, hair accessories , snacks. 3. Write a positive affirmation. We will include your message in a handwritten note in each LOV Box! Example - You are beautiful inside and out! 4. Monetary Donation to Ladies of Virtue If you would like to donate please donate on this eventbrite or LOVChicago.org/donate For those that are sign up to volunteer, we will provide additional information by February 8, 2022. COVID Protocols for Packing Day: - Hand sanitizer will be available for use at every station - KN95 masks required and must be worn for the entire event (no food or drink will be served) - Temperature checks at arrival - Social distancing where possible - If you are feeling sick, showing any symptoms or have been in contact with someone with COVID, please stay home

Ladies of Virtue launched on October 1, 2011 with six girls on the South Side of Chicago and now we serve over 200 girls annually!

Our mission is to instill purpose, passion, and perseverance in girls, ages 9 to 18, while preparing them for college, careers and to become change agents in their communities. 

We match our participants with mentors and prepare them for leadership through character building, career readiness and civic engagement.
